2026-27 Club Membership Contest

Cross Country BC is excited to announce the return of the annual club membership challenge!

To win the challenge, a club must have the highest percentage of members registered*, as of midnight Dec 1 2026, as compared to its previous seaon’s total membership. For example, a club with 200 members last season and 140 members by Dec 1 would be at 70%, and a club with 160 members last season and 120 members by Dec 1 would be at 75%.

To make things fair as well as have more winners, clubs will be divided into 6 groups and a winner will be selected from each group, for a total of 6 winners. Each winner will receive a prize, and the prizes will be randomly distributed amongst the winning clubs. This year we are pleased to also offer an additional draw prize that will be assigned to a participating club or clubs at the close of the contest.

The challenge officially kicks off today, October 1st and closes on December 1st. Prize winners will be announced in early December. Winning clubs will be contacted directly and an article will also be posted to the CCBC home page.

*As reported in the Zone4 membership database. Minimum 20 members to qualify.
